A little work...a little .inf, Belkin F5D8053

The Belkin F5D8053 uses the Ralink RT2870 chipset and I don't mind admitting to being more than a little miffed when the Ralink USB Driver through 'MyPeek' failed to recognise the card. For some reason this particular USB stick cost close to £80.00 when bought but all is not lost if you are in a si...

Good news! D-Link DWA-140

Driver .inf files

Hi, I've just been analysing the 'rt2870.inf' file that comes as part of the Ralink USB Driver for OmniPeek from the drivers download page. I thought we had a 'D-Link Xtreme N Duo USB Adapter DWA-160' in our inventory but unfortunately we haven't. I see the 'Xtreme' is indeed supported in the '.inf'...

Excellent! Thank you for that mini-list; the D-Link Xtreme and the Belkin F5D8073 are in our inventory! As a bit of background we work in rural areas in the UK; yes we really do stick USB,s at the focal point of satellite dishes! USB sticks are just more convenient for that type of work. OmniPeek se...

Thank You for your prompt reply It was my understanding that a chipset is a chipset i.e. regardless of manufacturer and or dealer. If the drivers provided through 'MyPeek' are specific to an individual manufacturer (Linksys) then I think it is only fair that this is made clear to the customer prior ...

OmniPeek Product Family Wireless Drivers Page

Hi On the OmniPeek Product Family Wireless Drivers page there are drivers for the Ralink 'Ralink USB Driver a/b/g/n ralink_usb2870'. The driver is available via 'MyPeek' the WildPackets community portal. I downloaded the driver via 'MyPeek' and 'windows XP' doesn't accept it as a valid driver. That ...
