I followed the exact steps as listed for installation on Win-7, except for the last step, reboot. I must have forgotten to reboot, because once I rebooted it was recognized by OmniPeek and is working.

OmniWiFi not recognized by OmniPeek Enterprise V7.9.1

I just bought an OmniWifi Adapter, installed it on my laptop, updated the driver and started OmniPeek Enterprise V7.9.1. The adapter does not show up in the list of Adapters (Capture Options). The adapter shows as Wildpackets 802.11n USB Wireless LAN Card in Control Panel (Win-7). The driver version...

Just another comment to this topic;

When I double-click on a large capture file, it seems that nothing is happening after OP is opened. No messages displayed or any icon showing that the file is being opened. So, it seems that the file is not opened. A notification message would be fine.......

I turned off UAC - and OP opened the file automatically.
I then adjustert UAC from Never to Notify to Default and Always.
OP opened the file automatically in all cases.

Case closed.

Double-clicking .pkt files - Win7

I am running OP V6.6 on Win7 64-bit.

When double-clicking a .pkt file, OP is started, but the file is not automatically opened.

Any guidance on what I need to do?
