Re: Trigger on Filter

We cannot reproduce this here, it seems to work fine. Please upgrade to the current version, which is 10.1. In capture options, select Trigger, click start trigger, then Trigger event, then click Filter and select the filter you would like to trigger on. Keep in mind, this does not filter traffic at...

It is much simpler now. Just create a simple filter, click Port and specify the range like this

125-1178

We recommend you upgrade to the current version which 10.1

Re: Open PCAP file that includes TZSP header

Hello-

Please contact Tech Support directly:

https://www.savvius.com/support/contact

TZSP protocol has been supported for a long time, but this sounds like an encapsulated packet from a WLAN controller. Dev team will need a trace file to investigate-

Thanks-

Re: Ransomware

If you did research and knew the profile and some of the contents of the particular virus signature, you may be able to create filters that would detect the presence on the network. There is no automated detection or anti-virus component in Omnipeek.

Re: Omnipeek driver for MTK7612U

If that adapter uses a Ralink chipset, the driver installed with the latest version of Omnipeek may work, although this adapter was never tested:

Re: Not able to capture all Data Packets with A6210

We have seen this type of issue with iPerf before, as it does not generate wireless traffic. We will need more details about your topology, but can assure you this is not an issue with Omnipeek, but an issue with the way iPerf works in this type of environment. Please contact Tech Support directly: ...

Re: Voice MSA

Hello again-

We looked at your files. The reason it does not work is that MSA does not support UDP flows:

Re: Voice MSA

It would be much easier to just compare the delta times of the two packets. Creating an MSA from just two packets is problematic. Please contact Support directly:

Re: Dynamic Decode

You should be able to select any element in the decode, right click and Add Decode Column. This can be done multiple times for as many items as you like. This feature has been requested for many years by customers. If you still have questions, or think the software is not performing properly, please...

Re: Version 6.5.1 - how to collapse threads?

We would recommend contacting support so that they can put you in touch with your local sales rep. This way, they can determine which flavor of Omnipeek you have and its capabilities. The current version does in fact have an Expert View designed for this purpose- https://www.savvius.com/support/cont...
