Re: Omnipeek - Accuracy of time

The time resolution will usually be a factor of the Atheros driver and is not handled by Omnipeek.

We would suggest you contact Tech Support directly for this type of detailed question:

Re: Capturing a remote Extreme Networks AP

Omnipeek does not support the Extreme Networks AP using the Access Point Capture Adapter. However, if the Extreme device support RPCap, you could use that configuration within Omnipeek instead and that may work for you. For the Adapter go to Aggregator>Roaming and you can set up an RPCap interface t...

Re: Omnipeek in Bootcamp ?

Hi, M-

Although some customers use OmniPeek in a virtual environment on a Mac, the Apple hardware is not really a supported platform. That being said, of all the virtual environments available, Bootcamp has been reported to be the most problematic.

Re: Can I use same chipset with different manuf. to be the 802.11ac's capture device?

Hello- We have not tested OmniPeek with any of the adapters you reference. However, the current Ralink driver used by OmniPeek (5.1.12.48) appears to work with all the 2870 based Ralink/MediaTek adapters. We would encourage you to load the driver and let us know the result. You can get the driver he...

Re: OP Client back/fwd compatability

Hi, Brian-

Here are your answers:

1. Is the OP 9.1 client backward compatible with the 9.0.3 engine?.....Yes
2. Is the OP 9.0.4 client forward compatible with the 9.1 engine?....No, you always have to have a client that is the same or newer than the engine.
