Re: Plugin samples and 64-bit

Hello-

Both OmniPeek Plug-in Wizard 12 v1.9 and OmniEngine Plug-in Wizard v8.0 have the option to build 64-bit plug-ins. We hope to have these posted to our MyPeek customer portal very soon.

Re: Plugin samples and 64-bit

You are correct, most of the plug-ins are old and will be removed from the site shortly. Here are the only plug-ins that have been updated and will remain (both 32 and 64 bit versions: Cloud Latency Monitor • DHCP Stats • FindMe • Cloud Stats Plugin • Traffic Analyzer Plugin • QoS Stats Plugin • Fix...

The Ghost vulnerability is Linux only, OmniPeek and OmniEngine Windows are not affected.

Re: Could someone have driver of D-Link DWA-160 Rev.B2

Scott-

Tech Support send you that driver (Ralink beta 5.0.7.9) on Thursday the 29th. Did you not receive it?

If the zip file was blocked at your end, you can download it here:

Re: Omnipeek can't decrypt WLAN packet with PMF (802.11w)

Hi-

If your software is under maintenance (it should be because you are running 8.1.1), please let Tech Support know about this issue. You can send them a sample trace file to see where the decryption problem might be:

Re: 2 channels at the same time

You would need to upgrade to the current version of OmniPeek which has a built in Aggregator which allows for capture from multiple radios. No additional hardware would be needed as long as your PCI card and driver is supported by OmniPeek and has multiple a/b/g/n radios.

Re: Protocol CIFS

Check the decodes of the CIFS packets where the individual information elements are parsed.

Please contact Tech Support if you have questions about further details of CIFS decodes:

Re: Can I use WUSB6300 adapter to capture 802.11ac packet?

The only current adapter for 802.11ac capture is the Cisco AE6000, 1 stream, which uses a beta Ralink driver. Please contact Tech Support for more details.

Re: Capturing WDS Frames with Release 7.9.1

We should have no issues with 4-address WDS frames in OmniPeek 7.9.1.

If your software is under maintenance, please contact Tech Support directly, as they will need to see a trace file illustrating this problem:

Re: Using OmniPeek to decrypt WLAN packets

OmniPeek can decrypt the packets if encrytped with WPA2/Passphrase. WPA2 Enterprise commonly uses a RADIUS server and supports multiple authentication types such as digital certificates and tokens, which are not supported by OmniPeek at present-
