Omniappliance (Linux) problem

Seems that every once in a while, when I try to login to my omnipeek appliance linux, I get the error:

"The connection attempt was refused. The service may not be running on the host or the host may not be accessible from this location. Error code: 0x8007274D"

I was just in watching a sniff and it kicked me out back to the "Connect to Omniengine linux" and when I try to reconnect I get the above error message.

My only resolution is to reboot the box by logging in via SSH and issuing the "reboot" bash command.

Any idea's as to why this service is failing and can it be restarted without rebooting.

Engine Type: OmniEngine Enterprise
Version: 5.5.1 (build 6.4.1.6)
OS: Linux
