Can't open trace with no MAC(Layer 2) information

Postby azonov27 » Thu Feb 18, 2010 3:42 pm

Hi,

I'm using Omnipeek 6 and I can't open the .pcap trace file with no MAC information. On other hand I can open the same trace with wireshark. Wireshark just put the note :"no link information available" in Layer 2 field.
Is there any setting that might help?

Thanks

OmniPeek at the present time does not support tracefiles with no datalink information. We are looking into support of certain types of these files, such as Cisco EPC.
