Save Graph in CSV Format

Postby R4 » Thu May 06, 2010 11:28 am

I currently capture traffic on my omnipliance and import the files using omnipeek. The files can only be opened using a forensic search. When I view a graph of the network utilization traffic and try to save it as a csv file but the option is not there. It only allows you to save it as a report.

But if I create a monitoring capture and perform the same tasks, I can save it as a csv file.

Why can't I save forensic capture files in a different format but monitoring captures do allow you?

If you right-click on a file or files in the Files tab of the OmniEngine, you can then save that to the local OmniPeek machine and then you will be able to save the NU graph in CSV. The only thing to remember is that you will have to keep the file to a manageable size, as Windows cannot open very large files because of the memory limitations.
