At present, the only Centrino chipset supported by OmniPeek is the 3945. Intel will need to add the promiscuous mode ability to the 4965, when that happens, OmniPeek will recognize the adapter.

This requires a new driver? no, it would have to be a manufacturing thing, correct? 'cause you already replace the driver for omnipeek... I guess the question im trying to ask is not when, but how will this work?

So if I understood well, the only Intel Centrino chipset who can work with Omnipeek is the Intel Pro/Wireless 3945ABG
I have on like this on my Dell XPS M1710 but
Does it work with the program named Airodump ? Because it detects it but it comes to launch the channel listening process, it says :

"FATAL : failed to set the wireless channel, is something wrong with the card ? Also make sure you have installed the correct driver".

Since I have red that this card works without any special driver, what am I supposed to do to make it work ?

Thank you for help and answers
