Wrong parsing for the data rate (802.11ac caputre)

Postby ycchangtw » Fri Dec 13, 2013 2:51 am

Here is the scenario:
(1) fixed the AP @ bandwidth (20/40 auto) instead of 80Mhz
(2) fixed the STA @bandwidth (20/40 auto) instead of 80Mhz
(3) running the throughput test
(4) Using linksys AE6000 adapter with omnipeek test driver

PS. use OmniPeek trial version (7.9.1)

We found the data shows 390Mbps MCS9(wrong) instead of 180Mbps MCS9 (corret).
We use our purchased onmipeek with customzied decoder plug-in, and it show 180 Mbps corretly.

Is this the bug of onimipeek 7.9.1 ?

The Ralink 5077 driver for 802.11ac capture is still in beta. If you contact Tech Support, they will forward this information to Product Management:
