Capture with tcpdump on Synology

Postby lololo » Thu Nov 10, 2016 5:03 am

Hello,

I will try a capture with tcpdump on a synology.

I configure a new adapter.

For authentication, I use root and a private key (without password).

but that doesnt ... message "interface synhronization failed: Authentication failed".

If I do the same configuration with putty ... well I go to the root console

I looked if I found a log but I found nothing relevant.

thanks for your help

The TCPDump adapter in Omnipeek requires that a password be used. You cannot leave that field blank.
